- Ensure that the associated engineering activities adhere to the assigned Digital I&C systems design bases and take responsibility for them.
- Support the modifications to the design of the assigned systems to ensure that:
- The nuclear safety of the plant is adequate.
- The requirements of the law are met.
- The layout of the plant is maintained.
- Human performance is properly taken into account.
- Plant efficiency is maintained or enhanced in accordance with company goals.
- Assist in the nuclear classification of parts and services and the preparation of technical specifications for the acquisition of new or replacement plant equipment affecting the assigned systems to facilitate high-quality purchases. • Assist in the design and support of safety-related analysis for the assigned Digital I&C systems.
- Assist in the implementation of design modifications by utilizing internal resources and/or external suppliers to maximize schedule and cost.
- Align the schedules of suppliers and vendors with the construction, commissioning, and operational schedules of the BNPP to support the technical implementation of Cyber Security Controls.
- Assist in the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) change impact assessment to ensure that design changes to the assigned systems are consistent with the requirements of the FSAR.
- Support technical reviews on the issues to the assigned systems from the perspective of safety functionality and operation.
